Our Online Exhibition
Welcome to Thomas Gallery’s ever-evolving online exhibition.
Every month, renowned curator Konstanty selects and presents a fresh, carefully curated selection of majestic contemporary works from the artists we represent. This digital showcase is a living, breathing extension of our physical space in Antwerp – a place where new narratives emerge, hidden gems are revealed, and unexpected connections are made.
This month, in our fabulous online exhibition, we focus on one of the most crucial and enduring themes in art: freedom. Through a diverse selection of works, the exhibition explores how different artists interpret and express this concept in deeply personal ways.
Myriam de la Forrest presents freedom as the ability to move—captured in her sculptures as both a physical and spiritual experience. Her work reflects a dynamic interplay between the body and the intangible.
Severine Loisel approaches freedom through the liberation of medium, employing a variety of techniques to convey her inner states and emotional landscapes.
Thomas de Marsay portrays freedom in a more introspective manner—quiet, nostalgic, and rooted in the realm of thought.
Jachim Seifudem, in turn, understands freedom as a form of balance between contrasting states of being in the world. His work reflects an ethical equilibrium between panic and stoic calm, suggesting that freedom may emerge not from extremes, but from the tension and harmony between them.
Together, these artists offer a multifaceted reflection on freedom, revealing its complexity and its profound significance in contemporary artistic practice.
